Drying shelf items for Madeleine

I came in with my girl a few weeks ago and had put the pieces we threw during a class in a bag and labeled the bag with her name. Just want to make sure pieces labeled “Madeleine” wouldn’t be thrown out, I am going to come in today to move them to the bisquing shelf.

Pieces are only thrown out if:
A. They’re on bats for longer than 2 weeks (usually in this case it’s just moved to a ware board but sometimes it does get thrown)
B. It’s past 30 days on a ware board
C. It has had a yellow notice past 30 days

So just make sure your labeling your name and date, and as long as you’re working on your piece you can change the date, so it’s not going past the 30 day rule.
Hope that helps!

Just hoping that by “a few weeks” you mean less than 4 weeks.

Yes, it has been less than 4 weeks! 17 days actually. Is 4 weeks the cuttoff? I will be in this week

Please make sure to read the ceramics page on the wiki and take a Ceramics 100 class. Both provide important information on how our community works. Anna also posted information above for you.

Each shelf has a 30 timeline and if your piece is not labeled correct it could be cleared off the shelves long before that.
