Here is a spreadsheet for dos and don’ts. Please list any problematic things occurring in your committees that you’d like to illustrate in a video.

When do you want me to come in and give my 1 minute recording for CA?
I have interns coming in tomorrow night.
I think I changed access to the document to allow editing. Let me know if it works
It’s still making me request access
I changed the preferences to accept anyone with the link.
Before it was restricted to @dallasmakerspace.org
Ok Adnan I’ve tried but it’s still on view only not edit so here is a list that the CA committee put together for you.
So far I have:
Don’t use the fabric scissors for anything outside of fabric
Pay for consumable materials
If you’ve broken something, it’s ok, please tell someone
Put things back where you got them
Be considerate of the people within the space
Classes and meet ups have priority over individual work time
Leave a note on the heat press if it’s in use/cooling down
Use paper if painting or doing anything that is messy
Paintbrushes aren’t disposable
Wash out paintbrushes until water turns clean
General shooting of locations of common use items
No stashes of materials
No holding of personal projects (notes on drying items)
Projects need to be put away if you’re leaving the the near premesis for more than X minutes (I.e. Food run)
General DMS suggestions
If you leave glue-ups on work area tables, leave a note with your name, phone number, and when you will be back to remove it, also glue-ups must be removed within 24 hours.
Use safety glasses.
Closed toe shoes required in the workshop
Don’t leave laser cutters or plasma cutters unattended
Put the automotive tools back in proper places
Learn the coloring system of the tools (demo - or handout)
Leave no Trace (pick up after yourself)
Training required on:
Vinyl cutting, leather sewing machine, fiber art tools, dye sublimation
ugh! The sharing settings are horrendous… apparentely when you change the scope of emails it switches it back from edit to view…
It should be fixed now. I’ll add yours on there for you since you tried so many times lol
I don’t know but he might be taking videos around the space and may target 3d printers and radios?? Or it could be too many energy drinks? @thespacemaker
Or perhaps the best way to get people to see your post is to mislabel it… I mean we are talking about it now and 12 people clicked on your link
Or those are the things near the top of the list …
Hm… not sure how that happened…
Also not sure why you felt it was so important as to detract from a more important conversation.
Thanks. Now back to stuff that actually matters.
Anyone else want to update the list?
Thanks John for being a voice of reason
No… it’s just pretty obvious that that was a mistake of accidentally selecting on something while scrolling through the menu.
The fact you brought it up here just shows that you’re trying to pull someone down to make your input seem worth inputting.
It wasn’t constructive and you were calling out an Individual.
Note that I made this post to volunteer my time to other committees, you certainly don’t make that volunteer effort feel worthwhile.
If you want a sounding board to bring up little mistakes you notice other people make then I kindly ask you to take that nonsense somewhere else, or at least write it down on the spreadsheet so it can be properly addressed in a do or don’t video…
That’s the point of this post anyways
