Does the Domino require training?

I’ve taken the old woodshop class and the ‘leveling’ class Mark did when the system changed over. Neither of them went over use of the Domino. Would like to use the Domino (if we still have one) for a project I’m doing just to save mortise chopping time. Pretty sure I could figure out how to use it by reading the manual but before that, do I need any official training to access it?

No training required AFAIK, and tool wiki does not indicate any required, either.

I find Festool instructional videos to be some of the most helpful in the industry (i.e straightforward, practical, and to-the point):

I’m around the woodshop most days and would be happy to show you how to use it. DMS has both the 500 and the 700 Domino machines.

500…700…whatever it takes.

Videos are what I used, and the included manual(pull up the pdf in case no hard copy is there) is very easy to understand. I think the hardest part is marking your pieces!
