Does the DMS supply graphing calculators?

I was looking into getting the ti nspire cx ii cas for both school and personal projects and was wondering what kinds of calculators the DMS has to offer.

I’m not aware of DMS having graphing calculators to supply to people. Also, I’ve feel like graphing calculators are almost obsolete except for education and exams. Have you tried https://www.desmos.com/? Might be an option for now.

As you progress in your studies, I suspect that you will be using a graphing calculator less and less and start using stuff like Matlab

If you decide you want a physical graphing calculator, check Half Price Books. They usually have a few in one of the locked cases by gaming.

Also, be aware that if you plan to sit for certain proctored certification exams (for example, Texas Registered Professional Engineer exams), most advanced calculators are disallowed.

It used to be a thing to upload games and other programs written in C or Z80 assembly language onto many models of TI graphing calculators until the firmware was changed to disallow it (to prevent cheating on exams, they say.)

You can also emulate a TI-89 on your computer or phone:

I use graph89 regularly, it is great.
