Does anyone have access to a Mercedes-Benz ODB code reader?

I’ve got some issues with a 2007 Dodge Sprinter diesel van. It has a Mercedes-Benz(MB) drive train.

I have the ODB codes, but I have been informed that for MB the ODB codes are mostly generic and can be a bit misleading, there is another level of the data for Mercedes-Benz codes, readable with the MB code reader.
The MB codes may be more definitive, and allow me to focus in on resolving the issues that I’ve encountered.

A few months ago, I recall bumping into a DMS member working on a white MB coupe, and he mentioned that he is a MB dealership automotive tech.

I’m putting up this post to see if he(my apologies, as the name escapes me), or any other member has access to the MB code reader and can pull the codes from my van.

Send me a message, or find me in the Digital Media room most evenings after 5 M-F

Jay,

I ask two of my former customers what they would charge a family friend of mine for a scan of your Sprinter. One of them is in Richardson near Ti, and the other is in Farmers Branch just south of Addison Airport.

This is one of a few options (unrealistic) for an accurate diag mbenz tool.
