Also the QuickTrick locking knob/s seem to be kinda beaten up and not locking the top pin in place, are there service parts for it or does it not just lock?
The set looked like this and the encircled knobs were the ones that would not lock or had difficulty staying place; making the bars easy to dislodge(and the task more finicky-ish that it already is).
A really cheap and effective substitute for turn plates is two pieces of vinyl composite flooring tile (the 12" square stuff you can find at Home Depot) per wheel. A little bit of grease between them and you’ve got a turn plate at like a thousandth of the cost of the metal ones. Not great for frequent institutional/business use, and a little messy if you’re not careful with the application of the grease, but effective as heck for a cheap hack.
