Do I look like your Maid? (and ensuing dumpster/trash discussion)

besides a dumpster we need:

Might be used to empty trash cans within the space too. Nobody likes the trash drool people leave taking out the trash.

Looking at the dumpster late this afternoon, it was already overfilled with the lid not closing.

Will they even dump it in that state?

Could the dumpster be set on fire, like the one in the Metal shop? I bet that would make everything fit.

YES THAT’S A JOKE  NO, YOU SHOULD NOT DO THIS.

Well I specifically made sure the metal was cool before throwing into the dumpster. Lol

@Lampy,
I wouldn’t suggest one of those dump cans unless you have a way to dump them. Most places have a deeper dock than we have that stores the dumpster. That way they can roll this kind of can to the edge and let it dump. But, we currently don’t have this kind of a solution. So a large dump can like that would more than likely make the problem worse for those that have to empty it.

They should’ve dropped a pork rib in there to show what it would do to a finger.

We should build one of those!

I think our lease precludes “cooking” at the space, you you’d better bring your own :linksammich:

It’s like you’re IN my head!

(But we might put a hopper on…)

Yeah, I wish we had one more dock door. People are already risking their backs with the current cans.

Consider moving the dumpster back by the back door and strictly enforce “no parking” as necessary by towing.

Towing is a multi day process, it is very inconvenient to miss a pickup and have to pay for another one.

How do you propose we do this? It is my understanding that we do not control the parking area (our neighbors could park there) and any towing has to be instigated by the land lord…

A simple set of these and a floor jack will allow for us to relocate offenders to the opposite end of the parking lot where they can enjoy searching for their vehicle.

Not legally, especially if the car belongs to a neighbor.

And here I was assuming WE were the bad neighbor who always did the blocking.

Well we might be, but do you know whom owns all those cars?

Publicdata.com to the easy rescue.

Not our lot, common area all proprties. only land lord has authority to tow/move

Then use the publicdata website to find the owner and send them the bill for having to order a special pickup of the trash.

Not trying to rabble rouse, just very curious. Never REALLY thought about this before.
what laws enforce one being unable to relocate another’s vehicle?
