You joke, but I know the right people to actually make this happen… (huge legal and financial issues notwithstanding). I’d rather work on my Discovery Channel or Science Channel show concepts for DMS.
Also: camera crew are not a non-technical bunch and are not at all afraid to prank back.
I’ve also built some “Reality TV” connections over the years. @Lampy, lets make this happen! It would definitely grow membership, I would expect us to quickly split between into real DMS and TV DMS much like OCC did on their TV show. Just get a few writers to scan the forums and we would be in business for 100s of episodes.
Yeah, it’d NEVER EVER HAPPEN. The legal issues alone would kill the show, logistically it’d be a nightmare and I’d practically guarantee that it’d kill DMS as a whole.
