Since this came up in another discussion, I would like to check interest in have a Pinewood Derby-type competition at DMS. I was thinking 3 classes: a “stock” gravity class, a stock size and weight gravity class, and an outlaw class which would allow basically anything that won’t damage the track, including motors or mechanical propulsion systems. The track owner, @pinewoodnut would have final say on what is track-safe. Date is yet to be determined, but would probably be in late spring or early summer, after BSA racing season.
Edited to clean up some wording around the ages of participants. Apparently, we can only allow entrants 16 and up.
