The poor lathe has had the compound slide and tool post stripped off, handles removed or broken, and intentionally rusted. 
Oh thats just the barber fright lathe, thats how they come new out of the box!

I have loved watching this Mad Maxillian vehicle evolve. I think the cost factor savaging has had lead much to its appeal and demeanor. The rusted shopping cart patina is a definite plus.
I’d love to see how it would be classified if registered in another state. “Are you SURE this doesn’t have a salvage title … and it’s a bus you say?”
