DMS Mobile Education Unit

I think we should acquire this.
It embodies DMS’ vibe into a rolling singularity, perfect for recruiting new members while teaching classes using the (working? Please tell me the equipment works!?!) equipment.

The poor lathe has had the compound slide and tool post stripped off, handles removed or broken, and intentionally rusted. :frowning:

Oh thats just the barber fright lathe, thats how they come new out of the box!

A video walkthrough from the first time it was up for sale:

A bit of spit on a kleenex’ll take that rust right off. Toolposts are for wimps!

Image what @PearceDunlap could have done with this instead of the Cruel Bus. But then again, just the name Cruel Bus adds to its formitable mystic.

The cruel-bus was just 10x cheaper! Sometimes the budget rules everything

I have loved watching this Mad Maxillian vehicle evolve. I think the cost factor savaging has had lead much to its appeal and demeanor. The rusted shopping cart patina is a definite plus.

I’d love to see how it would be classified if registered in another state. “Are you SURE this doesn’t have a salvage title … and it’s a bus you say?”

Great work!

Budget smudget! I only need another 40-50 people to hand me $1000 cash and it can totally be mine ours!

Man. They sure are proud of that. Maybe I should make one then sell it.

But it wouldn’t be a piece of movie-making history, would it?
