Hi all,

Here is the present status of all current projects around the space for construction:

  • North Lobby restroom: Lights have been replaced and toilet shims have come in today after a lengthy delay. We still need someone to paint the bathroom if anyone is interested.

  • Dark Room (former men’s room). Photography SIG has been cleaning up now that plumbing has been completed.

  • Phase 1 construction. Initial construction has been completed. Contractors need to come out to fix some issues, but Digital Media and Lathe Room are ready to start expanding into.

  • New Automotive. We ran into some unexpected foundation issues when trying to setup the lifts. An engineering study needs to be done before we can proceed. No ETA on this for now.

The wobbly toilet in North Lobby has been shimmed and caulked so it’s mostly stable now. Little bit of a shift but it’s a vast improvement from before. Thanks to @mreynolds for installing the shims.
