I’m just curious if the camera image sizes are so small to possibly reduce bandwidth? Also, the images have multiple sizes
(ie: 3D Printers and Automotive Area images are considerably smaller than the other images.), again, just curious.
They were made small for privacy concerns, idea is to be able to see if a tool is in use but not easily read things like license plate numbers.

Actually it has to do with drive space not privacy. Now that we have more drive space available, we might be improving image quality. But you will need to talk with @StanSimmons
If you are talking about the image page that everyone can view… yes that is most likely privacy. Committee Chairs should have a higher resolution video/image available.
It has nothing to do with disk space. Those images are single images overwritten each time they are updated. It was for privacy/stalking concerns.
(I assume he is talking about the images on the cams page)

I realized after rereading what they were talking about. I edited my post above to reflect this. We have had some people complain of low quality video feeds on some cameras and we did reduce the image quality because of drive space concerns but this really doesn’t have to do with the image page that everyone can view. This most likely will not change when we increase quality.

I would be glad to help with maintenance on the main site as well. I unfortunately got my head in WordPress Admin allllll day. I manage 400+ installations of WP for my clients. Doing mostly stuff like: “I deleted that page, can I get it back”, “I deleted that row/column, can I get it back”, I deleted my admin login, can I get it back." See a trend?
