They would have been, or at least not suffered any repercussion for trying. Auto insurance companies have long since figured out it is just more cost effective for them to pay off everything and everyone and simply raise their rates and shear their sheeple/consumers a bit more each year. This includes all sorts of fraud that could easily be chased down and quashed and then stopped if they felt like it. When all of them are doing it, there’s nowhere else to go, competitively speaking. Kinda like choosing between Home Depot and Lowes.

Well I appreciate the referral to a place that wasn’t full of such asshats. It’s been my experience morality aside, people like that don’t do quality work despite getting paid exceptionally well on the ticket.
