DMS Art Shows - Looking for participants

July – Vessels (smaller show in the art room) clay, wood, 3D printed etc types of vessel forms (this will simply be on the shelves in the art room) Need poster ASAP

August – Trash to Frame recycled up-cycled and re-purposed items that have been altered into artwork. Please be conscious of 3D works we really don’t have much space for them. This work should cost as little as possible. Items can come from curbs, scrap bins, thrift stores….I hope you understand the concept. Nick is currently working on the poster.

September – October – 10X10 we will make 10inch by 10 inch supports out of wood (we will probably have you purchase them at cost) and you can do anything with that support that you wish but it must include it. Scott is working on the poster

November – Laser items constructed and created with the laser cutter Need poster and a better name

December – January – Walking Backwards into the Future – concepts of reflection or projection Need poster

Hmmm, I was just thinking the other day of some neat artwork I could do with mirrors. December gives me plenty of time to come up with something good.

Is there any more info on the vessels show? Instructions, submission form, drop-off dates? Sorry if I missed the thread, I’ve been away from the forums.

I’m so sorry for just seeing this. Please bring in your piece to DMS and speak to Tom Cook in the woodshop - he is putting the show together. This is a smaller show and I’ve been very busy with the world outside of makerspace and I’m sorry I didn’t see this post.
