DIY Bio Printing

I’m still working on my own 3D printer and the 3D printer build class, but I saw something interesting on instructables:

Basically, using a hacked HP cartridge they were able to print E. Coli fluid for culture in the form of words. Simple bacteria growth and maybe some sort of gelatin that could be layered upon itself in 3D that contains cells that grow. I’m not an expert on it but it would be cool to experiment with printing bio materials using inkjets technology.
