I have 3 burned out light bulbs. I know they have mercury so should not just be thrown away.
I live in Dallas.
How do I safely dispose of them?
Thanks. Thanks. Thanks.

Local Lowe’s stores have recycling receptacles (batteries, compact fluorescent bulbs & plastic shopping bags) near the entry where they have their return merchandise service desk.
I noticed this as a casual observation the other night whilst doing a return…
Aha! I’ll run the batteries by there, then. The bucket we’ve got in the galley is apparently from a company that closed. Batteries Plus says there might be a charge, so I’ll try Lowe’s.
There is also the Dallas County Home Chemical Collection Center at 11234 Plano Road, 75243, open Tuesdays Wednesdays, Thursdays and occasional Saturdays, you must show proof of Dallas County residence. Below is their website:
I know Best Buy takes batteries and old phones.
