Who maintains the refrigerator? Is this like a do-ocracy thing or a committee thing? It is super gross, and I would appreciate it immensely if someone handled it if it’s their thing, or let me do-ocracy it if it’s not a committee’s baby. I seriously just saw food that expired four months ago in there. 
I thought @dryad2b (Beth) was doing it. That crap was DISGUSTING. Most stuff was from October. Oldest was even from FEBRUARY!!!
I’d like to propose getting rid of the fridge altogether. Storing unpackaged, opened food/condiments sounds like a heath liability. It would be nicer to just replace with a filtered water cooler/heater.

Excuse me? I just asked that it be cleaned, I didn’t touch it yet. Maybe the person in charge did it? Or maybe don’t leave yogurt in the fridge four months after it has expired?
I had a couple of bottles of beer and a couple of sandwiches from Nov 2 in there. Had as I had to rescue it from the trash.
Correction, that was Nov 26 and I did not realize it was more than a week ago.
What are you talking about? An observation(s) was made (disgusting food in refrigerator), a course of action proposed (get rid of refrigerator}, and a suggestion made to add to next member meeting agenda. How is that being unexcellent or giving “ZERO warning”???
edit: I see your subsequent post. This thread did not indicate anyone actually threw anything away, which isn’t to say someone didn’t.

Yup. I assumed one of the responsible committees took care of it. They also got rid of the gross yellow ice!

I was in a class a few weeks ago and there was a member drunk. He wasn’t rude, but had had a few. I assumed he came drunk, but maybe he was drinking here. Generally speaking, alcohol and heavy machinery don’t mix well.

I don’t propose we get rid of the fridge, but I use the ice and water dispenser more. Would we get a replacement water/ice dispenser that’s maintained by someone instead?
