Hello DMS members! We are looking to record a DMS specific podcast the second weekend of May(9th or 10th), and are looking for excellent content.

We are looking For Board of Directors and Committee Chairs, who will outline what is happening at the DMS over the next year.

We are also looking for new members who want to talk about the projects they are working on, or recently completed.

Great Idea!

How long would each person’s blurb be? I think it’d be interesting to have the first DMS Podcast be focused on our new Board of Directors for sure! :smile:

I don’t mind participating in one of your Chairperson slots, if you don’t mind a lot of uhmmmm… uhhhhh… :wink:

@LisaSelk you are reading my thoughts. I haven;t heard back from the Board, so I thought I would keep working my way through the process. I am also looking for people who are interested in being interviewers.

Umm and errrrs would be edited out. :smile:

I am thinking each committee chair would speak for 3-5 minutes. You can have talking points prepped if you would like.

Format for the pilot would be
a. Introduce the BOD, and plans for the year
b. Committees and Plans for the year
c. Member Spotlight
d. “Kids” corner (check out our junior makers)

If we can pull this off, this will be the longest podcast. If not, we will pair down the format a bit.

Bueller? Bueller? Beuller? Anyone else interested in being an interviewer or interviewee?

I’m new to DM, but I joined specifically to get guidance, help (paid or unpaid), and get exposure to use of electronics and digital video production for my business and building a camera system I’m designing for filming sports events (mostly hockey games). I don’t mind being a scapegoat, but don’t want to discuss to much detail about the project until I explore patent potential.

Someone has to activate my door keys first though, as I can’t get in the building yet…

@Natasha_Cooks I would like to be involved if there is a podcast of committee heads talking about the various activities of the space.
