LisaLetters here, I have not made it down to the space since the opening. I want to, but still feeling a bit skittish about group spaces.
Before the the pandemic I was teaching classes in Printmaking on the letterpress. However, I’m still not comfortable teaching face-to-face just yet at the makerspace; I’m not sure we can anyway.
However, I’ve had some people email me about teaching classes and I wanted to provide this link to classes I teach in digital art and design online through Dallas community college. If you are interested in learning Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, typography design or computer illustration. Check out our class line up for the Fall. There is no better time to learn something new than during a pandemic, when holed up in the house is driving you crazy. I’m also still a member at DMS and looking forward to a time when I can get back to the letterpress, but for now it’s online for me.
