Saw a low cost (~$100) air powered mechanical ventilator. It was on my “try to get one” list after the 2009 swine flu. Not that I would use it myself - but to have for myself or family member if in a situation where vents were otherwise unavailable. Have to have an Rx so never followed up.

Called a Go2Vent. Maybe inspires ideas.
