The Design 2 Part show is coming March 2nd & 3rd, 2022. It’s a convention that bills itself as the “largest and longest running contract manufacturing trade show in the country.”
They add, “This show will feature hundreds of the best local and national job shops and manufacturers. In just a few hours at the show, you can compare thousands of sample parts in person, and talk to the experts who can help solve your manufacturing challenges.”
It was free for makers last year, but we had to register in advance.
I’ve been thrice. It’s filled with vendors of all kinds, and it’s a great place to go to learn about injection molding, stamping, design, extrusion, prototyping, finishing, CNC manufacturing, and so on. And you may wind up getting a few souveniers if you’re lucky. In my prior visits, I’ve gotten a stainless steel comb, a plastic wind-up robot toy, a plastic frisbee, lanyards, and catalogs!
