Is there a market at the space for old, used RAM? I just parted out the first computer I ever built.

I used to have a bunch of that exact same model in a desktop many years ago.
Being as you can buy 4GB of DDR2 PC800 for $15 new, I’m not sure what you’ll fetch on 10 year old sticks, though.
Then I think I should give a 33% discount and sell them for $10 each! My sticks are probably in better shape than the ones that have been sitting in old, hot damp warehouses for 10 years 
Samsung and Hyundai are still manufacturing new DDR2. Demand is low, but just high enough to justify continued production.
That’s the market nonsense you’re up against.
looks like the average after market price for gaming quality 2GB ddr2 800Mhz is about $7/stick.
If you donate it to the VCC interactive computer museum then I’d be glad to give you a receipt for tax on fair market value.
Looks like that would be about $120 towards your tax deductions
