For this year’s Maker Sale, we’re offering a choice;
Saturday November 18,
or our traditional Small Business Saturday November 25.
This is not the same thing that’s been discussed earlier. This is for people who’ve made things to offer to sell them to their fellow makers.

This is different than the sale where we buy a table space and set up shop for a Saturday? Like internal sale only vs, external?
Umm… this is the same as we’ve had in previous years. I was just trying to differentiate it from the swap meet that’s being talked about.
So yes – you buy/sign-up-for a table space, and bring your made goods to sell.
Ah ok, sorry I forgot about the swap meet thing!
My vote would be for Nov 25th. Do we know if advertising will occur this time around?
I’m certainly hoping so. I will work with PR to get us a FB ad at the least. Maybe list it on Meetup? Or do sales not qualify for meetup… I am also hoping to put out some fliers locally.

Once we have a flier ready I am happy to post on our work “facebook” thingy.

With Beth’s permission, I’m posting this poll to make it easier for her to consolidate the responses:
Please select one answer as your preference:
Saturday 11/18 - I’m a seller
Saturday 11/25 - Seller
Saturday 11/18 - I’m an attendee
Saturday 11/25 - Attendee

@Team_Moderators – could we pin this to the top for a week? Until 10/20/23. That should give folks a chance to vote.

Bumping to see if anyone else has choices.

Since more vendors preferred 11/25, I’m going with that. 10 am to 5 pm.
Unless I hear differently, 1 DMS table per vendor – no charge.

Is there a reason why we can’t do both dates?

I think that would split our effort too much. If we had a room that we could designate all week, and lock it when folks weren’t around, sure. Otherwise it seems like we’d be doing twice the set-up work, and probably not doubling our sales.
