I really enjoy watching Torbjörn Åhman’s blacksmithing videos on YouTube: precise work, nicely edited, and very educational.
He recently passed 500K subscribers to his channel, and as a “Thanks”, he used his skills to make some leather patches.
This video encapsulates one of MY greatest joys of making: seeing makers combining several maker disciplines to create something new.
In this video, he uses a combination of blacksmithing, machining, 3D design and printing, and some off-screen woodworking to make the leather patches for a giveaway. A little bonus maker gardening is thrown in for good measure.
Good stuff: well worth a watch.
