Could I run a long print at night?

I have a large print I would like to run for 13 hours on the big Polyprinter. Would it be alright for me to print them overnight? I don’t want to take up the time other people might be in and want to start prints.

Overnight would be the best time to run such a long print. It’s my understanding that you are to remain onsite (or very near to it) for the duration of any prints you run.

@Team_3D_Fab could provide a more definitive response.

If I am running it overnight I would prefer to be able to go home and sleep.

No, it must be supervised. You can not go home and sleep while it prints unless someone else specifically agrees to supervise it for you, and they must remain on site.

ok i will just have to do it during the day then. Can’t stay up all night

@Hanna_Kessler , I don’t have a problem with anyone asking for permission to run a long print if they can not be present, There is always a work around, message me and I will help you out

Ok, if I was to come in tonight in say an hour and start a 13 hour print, what should I do?

Hana, if you can come in tonight and babysit your print great, if you need a proxy to help I will be at makerspace all day Tuesday, we could split the time between us I could start your print around noon and you could come out around 7 to finish watching the print or you could come in Tuesday morning and start it and I can relieve you at noon
