Cosplay Interest Group - Stealthy or Defunct?

Hi All!

[tl;dr]
Q: Is there a cosplay special interest group?

[Details]

New member joining for access to tools and space for general making.
However, I also used to a healthy amount of cosplay before I moved, and was looking to jump back in for a few options (maybe before DragonCon)

The last post I see on Talks searching “cosplay” is in 2019 so I was wondering if that group was still active + stealthy, or if the group was super defunct (or somehow managed to almost burn the building down and is only spoken of in hushed tones in dark corners).

Hi there,

Yes we still have an active cosplay group. They’re not really here on talk, but more active on the Discord.

Their events are called Cossquad so keep an eye on the calendar. They usually have a few events a month.

You can also attend our Creative Arts committee meeting monthly, which the leaders are usually present if you have any questions.

It’s true we don’t really do a lot in talks. That should probably change haha.

That’s the discord link for GARB! We are having an event on the 26th of this month. Just going to go to the fabric district here in Dallas so cosplayers and anyone who are in need of fabrics can go. Please don’t hesitate to ask anything when it comes to cosplay, we are always here to help or cheer people on!
