Cookies question

Hi there! I’m a newbie to cookies, do they need to be bisque fired or is bone dry OK for firing with my glazed pieces?

There’s a certain amount of shrinkage that goes on between dry and bisque. So, up until about 1800F or so, your cookies would be shrinking when your bisqued (glazed) piece is not. Rather than risk any weirdnesses, we just say – bisqued cookies.
