I have that model, and it does connect via eth or WiFi. I think eth might be required for setup

But almost certainly only works with a 2.4 GHz network (i.e not higher speeds more common now). Which should be fine for almost any typical router and use.
And here I was thinking 2.4 GHz was a frequency.
