There will be a small crew in using our space on Monday and Tuesday to film some small commercials.
Monday: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
On Monday, the East parking lot (back side of the building) will be used for filming; the spots will be blocked off on Sunday evening. There may be times where they are filming shots near the exit doors. In these instances, they will have someone from their crew inside asking you to wait a few moments to leave.
Smoke and other effects may be used by this crew. I do plan on utilizing this time to test our fire alarm system: I will announce when this is happening prior to these events by walking around the space and letting everyone know. As of right now, they are planning on using the common room for the smoke shots. I do know that it’s central for moving between the old side and the new side: they only plan on taking shorts takes – less than 30 seconds – to minimize disruption to the other members.
Tuesday’s shots will be limited to the areas that they have reserved – Interactive and Lecture Hall.
