The Hackerspace (VCC and SDC merged) is in the early planning stages for a Hackathon we’re organizing. We’ll be messing around with some Raspberry Pis and a sensor kit with a distance sensor, a temperature and humidity sensor, rotary angle sensor, and a small screen. We’re going to take one of the ideas and build it out to show the board and possible sponsors.

The point of this event was to figure out the constraints of a hackathon the Hackerspace (VCC and SDC merged) is trying to organize. This was a one-time event, but we plan on teaching raspberry Pi classes leading up to the hackathon. We don’t have a date for the hackathon yet.
