Hopefully it hasn’t been trashed because I have just found the spares that will probably fix the streaky print problem. I’ll deliver them to the space tomorrow. They’re free to whomever owns the printer at the moment.

I don’t think they could find a windows 7 printer driver for it…BTW, It prints fine using CUPS in Linux

If we’re talking about the huge monstrosity that was in Room 1 for a while, “prints fine” is a bit misleading. It takes approximately 8 minutes for a print job to spool and print.

For those of us who were HP techs back when the CLJ5 came out, that is printing fine.
You younguns don’t remember the days when printers were rated at LINES per minute, not PAGES per minute…

Not to mention DRAMATIC improvements of late in FPO, especially on color devices!
