Is there anyway to adjust the blade guard to cut a piece of 1/4" plate 6" wide?
The guard is currently too low to allow anything that high.
I know it will not cut it laying flat.
Maximum dimension is 4" x 4" at 90 degrees, 3.25" at 45 degrees.
Larger than that will damage the saw and the blade will not be big enough to cut through something that wide.
There is usually a good reason something won’t fit under a guard: It’s not supposed to. It’s part of the design.
