  1. When are the next Wood CNC classes?
  2. What software do I need to start learning to get a head start?
  3. I always did my laser files in Fusion360 first for 3D, then just exported out in 2D to cut my cut drawings for Inkscape. Will my 3D drawings from Fusion360 convert to the CAM files?

  1. Next one is not scheduled yet, but last one was Monday.
  2. We use VCarve Pro. You can download a demo version which lets you do everything short of exporting GCode to run.
  3. VCarve cannot import SVG, but lots of other formats. From a parametric CAD program like Fusion 360, I would recommend exporting a “drawing” to a DXF file for import into VCarve.
