Was VCarve replaced on the CNC computer? I attempted to work on a project yesterday and looked like totally new software had been installed

Not exactly.
The computer at the Multcam now boots to a Windows desktop and from there, you need to Remote Desktop to the jump server “physical.dallasmakerspace.org” to use VCarve. The desktop will be what you’re used to once you do that.
You don’t want to mess with what’s running on the Multicam PC. Just log in, remote desktop to VCarve and do what you normally do.
