I am new at DMS so apologies for the newby question in advance: is the CNC course being offer this Thursday (March 16th) for the same CNC machine in Woodshop? I noticed that it’s listed under Machine Shop so I wasn’t sure - and I am actively waiting to have the opportunity to be certified in the Woodshop CNC machine. Any info/advice is greatly appreciated. All members wishing to use the Multicam must complete training on our smaller CNC devices first. Starting with the Shapeoko 2, then the Shapeoko 3 along with CAMed test cut file. After which you can move forward with the Multicam series of training classes. The Multicam is a very fast and expensive machine that has been historically broken more than it was not. We have spent massive amounts of time and money to refurnish the machine and are deliberate regarding the training and qualifications members must hold. Currently there is a line of members that are also pursuing this certification.
