That’s awesome! If you could attach a clamp instead of the round stock, it could have a lot more uses as well.

As an aside, isn’t a device like this essentially what started Haas?
Atm it is clamped with a quarter inch bolt and washer, not that accurate, but enough for experimentation.
So the stock needs a quarter inch through hole.
Adam, This really isn’t it’s intended purpose, but I would like to consider making one of these axis for this purpose, I would consider using something like this 4 jaw chuck.
Yeah, looks like it wouldn’t be an impossibility to adapt a chuck like that.
