It has a note on it that says “do not flush” but I doubt that anyone that would leave an empty pouch there for someone else to deal with would bother reading or caring.
We also seem to have a large supply of these wipes on the storage shelf…is DMS funding these for a particular person or set of people for any reason?
At any rate 1) the toilet is clogged. Don’t use it. and 2) expect more clogs if we continue to allow these wipes around.
Baby wipes are great for removing uncured epoxy and other sticky adhesives/fillers from one’s fingers (and other places said materials are not wanted). Perhaps that’s why they’re stocked.
I think the industry has heard a lot from various cities dealing with the issues caused by wipes and is at least looking like they want to come up with “flushability” standards. I have no idea how much these standards have been enforced or adopted etc.
That toilet shouldn’t even be in the space imo. Not big enough, not deep enough, not enough industrial umpfff to manage our output
An ADA compliant DEEP bowl power flush would make everyone from memebers to cleaning ppl much happier.
Also may be a necessity? Toilet seat heights must be between 17″ to 19″ above the finished floor. The lever for flush control needs to be placed on the open side of the toilet with the clearest floor space and mounted no higher than 44″ above the finished floor.
