Saw this on twitter and was pretty impressed with how clever this advertising tactic is. With no yeast to be found in the stores, beer to the rescue!
I usually make bread like this with a fruity flavored beer.

The rise here would be from the self rising flour and maybe some of the carbonation in the beer. Commercial beers have the vast majority of their yeast killed before bottling.
Cool plan, I’ve made bread using leftover yeast from brewing and I like the little bit of flavor it adds.

Speaking of Beer and “clever advertising” … & long before we were super sensitive and oh so politically correct (yes, ages ago) The good folks at Miller had a bill board in Fort Worth that read “Proud to be an athletic supporter”
