Great news! @Michael_Lawson took the effort to fully clean and place the two over-head air scrubbers back into operation today. Now we will have less dust in our air. Let him know how much this is appreciated by everyone.
Thank you for cleaning out the filters. Much appreciated.

Woot, woot,
Great job on improving the space.
Thanks a million.
Shout out from here! Great going.
How does DMS measure particulate? In Calgary we have currently 2 dust sensors that graph particulate
We are in the process of upgradingthem and adding another to the welding area
Our current data is on our portal, but here’s a screen shot
we upgraded the bag on the 5x10 cnc to 3 micron, and it really captures the dust well, suprisingly the biggest dust problems in the woodshop come from ros and belt sanders. While most PSPians blame the woodshop, grinding in the welding area can generate a lot of dust too- and now were soon gonna be able to track it.
We have one air filtration running constantly, and 3 portable units that we continually have to remind members to use!

At one point we had deployed air quality sensors. Long gone now. Our shop is large enough for a lot of equipment, but small enough that the dust density does build up quickly. Out next three steps will be to engage our large dust eater, add overhead dust collection to our saw stop and to begin testing an automatic dust collection gate on a select tool. Please keep in mind this dust gate is for testing purposes only. This company also makes metal ones that might be better suited for certain high traffic tools.
