I guess I have follow up questions, and I’m not sure if this needs to be handled some other way, but it’s semi-pertinent to this thread.
the class fee
a. how/when is this disbursed to the committee?
b. how do we follow up on whether it is disbursed to the committee, in addition to the honorarium? @dallasmagna Has metal shop been getting the class fees? Specifically from the plasmacam classes?
the honoraria
a. How long should one expect before one becomes concerned of not receiving one’s honorarium check? (and the corollary if the committee has not received its disbursement). I know this varies depending on volunteer efforts to some extent, but when should one begin asking questions, and of whom?
b.I notice on the spreadsheet shared, I have “missing info”. How do I follow up to find out what’s missing, and whether it has now been rectified?
I get the impression the length of time is “about 2 weeks”.
I suspect the answer “to whom” might be email to [email protected].
3. the attendee checklist: The attendee checklist: anything ever been figured out on this? It appears to me that my attendance checklist is blank, but I’m not sure if that means anything. I would think they would “stay checked” once it had been submitted, but I’m not seeing a clear cut response to that question.
So I taught my first class last weekend, went in a few hours later and checked off everyone who showed up. Based on this question I went back to my class and mine is also blank.
I too had a similar experience with this. I taught a class Thursday and I thought I had checked them off that night, but yesterday when I went back and looked it was blank. I thought maybe I failed to hit apply, or just was crazy and didn’t do it at all or something.,. but maybe I did and I am not crazy??
a. There is a report at the end of the month that I run out of Braintree (the processor we use for class fees) and give that to Ken to give to PSK to process.
b. I could run the report bi weekly, weekly or daily but right now its just monthly. Because of that, class fees can take a month to appear in their committee.
a. It can be as quick as a few days but can take up to 2 weeks. I would say after 2.5 weeks you should be asking questions.
b. usually that means that we are missing a w-9 or something else. I would reach out to finance to find out more info.
The checks aren’t deleted, they are just no longer displayed after the time allotment has passed. I have asked the developer to add that back similar to how the AD checkboxes are, but hes been traveling recently.
attend a finance meeting (there are none on the event calendar; are they still Sundays at 10:00 AM? I’m under the impression that’s not happening any longer)
Any other ways?
Any of these “preferred”?
Hopefully someone on Team_Finance can chime in.
Thanking each of you again for all the hard work you do!
I can see that now.
I didn’t realize the calendar bumped down hour by hour; I thought it only knocked off days at a time.
interestingly, it does not show for next week, either, in the list view.
It also does NOT show when one filters on “Finance”
It DOES show in the “Calendar View”,
and is noted as “Weekly Finance Meeting”, which I guess answers my follow up question: is this weekly, monthly, as posted? Answer: Weekly.
So if a member needs to clear up such concerns as those I have posted, is attending the meeting the preferred method of “reaching out”?
