We will be listening in to the Dallas Innovation Alliance’s Data Committee meeting to see if there’s a potential partnership opportunity there, and then discussing recent public sector IT news and general topics/project ideas on people’s minds.
It’s my impression that the DIA’s Data Committee is looking to bolster open government data sets, and then look to those sets to provide insight into where the city can improve. It could be a great volunteer opportunity for anyone interested in city data and GIS initiatives, and possibly getting their feet wet into the wide world of data analytics and machine learning.
