Circuit Board Potting

Does anyone have potting epoxy? I need to epoxy a board I made to prevent shock and don’t want to have to buy a whole bunch of it. Also any tips and tricks to potting would be appreciated.

It’s my understanding this works for “lighter” applications (the “2” is very important).

Epoxy does not adhere well to polypropylene. Polypropylene is a commonly used plastic for higher end boxes / containers. There is a good chance you can find the perfect mold with a search like this. For example, the little plastic cup that comes with these is perfect for mixing epoxy.

How big is your board? Possible option is large diameter heat shrink. There’s some yellow heat shrink on the shelves to the left of the Mouser sign. Came from Altex.
