Chris Asks "What Happened?" - Felder Failures & Sundries

What happened, I cleaned it out at 5am this morning and it was working flawlessly, what happened?

The Felder was back flushing, turned it off and noticed that the bags were not being sucked down into the bins. That led to a couple of hours of trouble shooting and a call to Felder. SWA and Pearce can explain further about the fixes applied.

Vacuum leaks in the dust bin. We remade 3 gaskets that held the bags down. Plus 2 of the windows in bin were leaking like a sieve.

Awesome, thank you guys, yea when they originally fell out the only thing I could find to tape the windows back was that black and yellow caution tape, if you were like wtf why’s there’s caution tape on them lol! But awesome work

the windows on the trolly could be replaced with some 1/4" acrylic and gaskets on both sides. basically make a sandwich with them instead of the tape situation.

Yea I was hoping to find some gasket or sealnt type stuff but I look in automotive and else where and all I could find was that tape, but that was before the covid shut down so for such a macgyver job it held up fairly long but I agree it’s a very un idea fix
