anyone know where I can buy a chip breaker file locally? I need to modify a cast aluminum part and this is what was recommended to accomplish the job easily and quickly. Do we have them at DMS?

Try CDC Products in Richardson. The guy that runs this surplus store is very knowledgeable about all the tooling he has in stock. He has drill bits by the thousands, mill tooling, nuts, bolts, you name it. If it is mechanical in nature he has it. He also sells cutoff bar stock, so it’s a great place to pick up plastics, and metal in smaller sizes. He accepts cash sales only.

More specifically, he doesn’t accept credit card sales. He takes cash and check.
