Cheap and easy 3D scan?

I’ll crosspost here to see if there’s some other expertise.

the ask:
part 1: Does anybody know of any technology we have available at the 'space or have experience 3D scanning parts?
part 2: If yes to the above, would someone be able to help me scan some woodshop tools?

the why:
In the woodshop, we have a table saw torn down for maintenance, and I was wanting to design a dust collection chute for it to 3d print and assemble in the saw. My default is that I can just sit down and measure the parts and mock them up in 3D, but there are a lot of organic shapes with the castings, so this will take considerable time. In an effort to work smarter, not harder, I was hoping to 3D scan the parts.

Alternative (probably faster) process: mock the chute up using corrugated cardboard, then flatbed-scan the parts, convert for 3-d printing or cnc router or cnc plasma cutting.

Or just use the mocked-up parts as templates to cut the parts out of masonite or thin plywood.
