Ceramics donation pile question

Hi all,

I was up at the space earlier today and noticed there were a few boxes of stuff and a note on one indicating it was a donation to the ceramics space. Included in those boxes was a 25lb bag of brown clay and I was wondering if that would be available for sale or how that usually works? Fully understand if it’s used for future classes or the space in general, but I’d be interested in purchasing it if possible as I don’t typically have the availability to make it down to Trinity so I’ve only been using the white stoneware sold at the space and would love to have something new to work with.

@Hellzlynx would be able to answer this best, but AFAIK donations of clay would be given away free first come first served - we try to stick to one type of clay for classes and at the moment DMS doesn’t sell any different clays. (We do have a member who brings in samples for us to buy occasionally but the Space doesn’t sell anything but WSW.)

Good to know, thanks! I definitely don’t need the whole bag but would love at least some of it if possible!

Very interested in these tools, put back in the cabinet, taped in a bundle, lmk whether I can purchase them, and the donation amount!
