Ceramics Cleanup Jan. ‘22

Hey folks, for those that missed the last meeting, we have decided to postpone our big group get together CleanFest for safety. Instead, I’ve put together a list of small, low time investment tasks (plus a few big ones for the most lovely and wonderful volunteers) that you can tack on to your regular visits.

There is a physical list in the space on the big grey teacher’s cabinet. Next time you are in, grab a task and help get Ceramics jazzed up for the new year!

Also, don’t worry about getting it spotless or not having time to finish if something comes up. If we all chip in a few minutes, it’ll get done. I cleaned the sponges/sponge bins and bench today. Is it perfect? Nah, but way better than before! When you have completed a task, please put your name and date in the field on the sheet.

Big thanks to @taria and @Monikat for getting us started with the teacher’s cabinet, kits and glaze brushes!

Is it possible to kindly ask maybe once someone does a task that they take a pic of the pages of what’s left? I just took an initial look myself and see some things I can likely help with during the week, depending how long kiln training takes depends if I can pick something up today. I know for me it would be helpful to know what tasks have been picked up so I can plan my time accordingly, although I understand if this isn’t useful for others. Just thought I’d inquire.
