Looks like it might be time to pin a brick!
Edit: also, thanks for rocking all the firings, I’m not currently using the space but still enjoying seeing everyone’s work. Whoop, whoop, pottery ~yeah~.
Yes, the poor kiln needs some love, who would know how to do that?
I, unfortunately, can’t come in to take care of it, but I would recommend ducking into Trinity with good pictures of the specific bricks and talking to Conor. He can walk you through how to best fix each particular problem area (patch, pin or reseat). Pins are super cheap, about five bucks for a pack and easy to use. It’s a quick job and hard to screw up. Mickey Bruce could come out and do it but I would super encourage trying it yourself. Much cheaper!
All the tiki cups are mine, I apologize for so many, they’ve just been sitting around. The ones with the thick lavender colored glaze should definitely get a cookie to be safe. What do I need to do in that aspect with current guidelines?
Ooh, I must have missed something, we talking about the displaced wall at the bottom?
It twould be best if you could make your own cookie/tray.
Yes, sounds like we can talk to Conor for the supplies.
Pinned the brick. Bisque in that paragon with Johnny, there is probably enough bisque for another load later this evening.
Thank you Annette!
I just wanna say that y’all made some pretty stuff.
Miss everyone. Hope you are all staying safe.
