Capture The Flag challenges are hacking puzzles.
You must find a text string flag somewhere and PM it to me and I will tell you if it is correct or not…
Normally it is in the form “CTF{something}” but not always. Good Luck!
This challenge closes on 5/2/2018. After this date, we will discuss it.

Here is what he said it is: 7h3fl4615v3ry345y

Alright … this challenge is CLOSED
We can discuss it.
There was a hint in the background story. If you google “leet” you will find the answer.
Leet (sometimes written as "1337" or "l33t"), also known as eleet or leet-speak, is another alphabet for the English language that is used mostly on the internet. It uses various combinations of ASCII characters to replace Latinate letters. For example, leet spellings of the word leet include 1337 and l33t; eleet may be spelled 31337 or 3l33t. It is used on the internet in forums, chat rooms and online games.
Leet is mostly used for English, but can also be used with other languages including Fr...
The answer to the leet password “7h3fl4615v3ry345y” is “Theflagisveryeasy”

I had trouble finding a complete dictionary. Apparently there are many variations. This did the trick…
Universal Leet (L337, L33T, 1337) Converter translates text to leetspeak, or leetspeak to text. Different modes are available (e.g., Braille, Morse code, Greek, Cyrillic, flip, reverse, balloon).
