I despised the “55” and loved all of the movies of the “resistance.” From The Cannonball Run to Smokey and the Bandit to The Gumball Rally.
My hat’s off to those who thought of making the run during the light traffic.

This guy at Jalopnik didn’t seem to think so.
But then who is he kidding by implying that Cannonball runs are done at legal speed when the previous record holder’s average speed was 103mph?
